| PURPOSE OF POSITION: |

To Perform Glazier Duties |
|
To Supervise and Train Glazier Helpers |
|
To Provide Excellent Customer Service |
|
To Communicate with the Shop and Front Office Staff on a Regular Basis |
| TASKS: |
|
To take accurate measurements using a tape measure |
|
To cut glass, mirror, and plexiglass to size |
|
To install glass, screens, windows, sealed units, sliding patio doors, and steel doors |
|
To install hardware for windows and doors (for example: closers, hinges, etc.) |
|
To do weatherstripping and caulking |
|
To respond to emergency calls when necessary |
|
To supervise and train Glazier Helpers |
|
To report any concerns regarding a Glazier Helper’s job performance to Management as quickly as possible |
|
To update Management regarding the progress that the Glazier Helper is making (E.g. Is he learning new skills? Is he doing a good job? Is he following the proper Health & Safety procedures? etc.) |
|
To assume other duties as necessary |
